Ozzy Osbourne Wants To Record Another Album, Return To The Road

Metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, who has been kept out of the limelight due to health issues, plans to release another album in 2024.

In a new interview with Metal Hammer, the Black Sabbath legend revealed that he is feeling okay and plans to release an album in 2024 before getting back out on the road.

"I've had all the surgery now, thank god," he says. "I'm feeling okay - it was just dragging on. I thought I'd be back on my feet months ago, I just couldn't get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong. I can't walk properly yet, but I'm not in any pain any more and the surgery on my spine went great."

"I'm getting myself fit," Ozzy adds defiantly. "I've done two albums fairly recently, but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road."

Osbourne released his first new album in a decade Ordinary Man in 2020 and then followed it up with Patient Number 9 in 2022.

'Amplified' Version Of Nirvana Biography To Be Released In October

Renowned rock journalist Michael Azerrad has announced a new "amplified" edition of the 1993 Nirvana biography, "Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana."

"The Amplified Come As You Are: The Story Of Nirvana" will be published by Harper Collins on October 24.

"Nirvana: The Amplifications," an official audiobook narrated by Azerrad collecting the new annotations, will also be released along with the book at leading audiobook platforms.

The 30th-anniversary deluxe edition of the iconic bestselling biography of Nirvana is updated with exclusive new content exploring the personal and cultural forces that inspired the music, the author's friendship with Kurt Cobain and why multiple generations remain fascinated by the 1990s.

"Just tell the truth. That'll be better than anything else that's been written about me," Nirvana frontman Cobain told author Azerrad at the time of writing the original Nirvana biography.

Seven months after the book's publication, Cobain was dead by suicide.

The new hardcover version, featuring 100 photos and hundreds of extensive new essay-like annotations, deepen the readers' understanding of the legendary band and the time in which it existed, the publisher wrote in its synopsis.

Rolling Stones Share 'Sweet Sounds Of Heaven' Featuring Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder

The Rolling Stones recently released "Sweet Sounds of Heaven," the second single from their upcoming album Hackney Diamonds, due October 20 via Geffen Records.

"Sweet Sounds of Heaven" features a vocal performance by Lady Gaga, alongside Stevie Wonder on Fender Rhodes, Moog and piano.

The track was recorded at Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Metropolis Studios, London; and Sanctuary Studios, Nassau, Bahamas and written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

During sessions in Los Angeles, the Rolling Stones and producer Andrew Watt invited Wonder and Gaga to work on "Heaven."

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Jagger called Gaga "a really great singer," adding that he had "never heard her sing quite that style before" when recording "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."

"No, I'm not, not goin' to Hell/ In some dusty motel," the duo sings. "And I'm not, not goin' down/ In the dirt," Gaga sings in the chorus.
